Chef Rebekah (Becky) Lennerton is a Red Seal Chef and the proprietor of Black River Food Company Ltd., a renowned gastro-catering company in the Muskoka region. For the past 20 years, Chef Becky has called Lake Country home and has been a fixture in the promotion of the local and craft food movement in this area. She subscribes to a farm-to-table philosophy when it comes to food, and her culinary creativity and inspirations are the hallmark of her company. For the past few years, Chef Becky has handled all wedding and food requirements as Executive Chef at the Mackenzie Inn, and is now owner/operator of all business at the venue as well.
Chef has spent years perfecting her craft and has worked in prestigious establishments such as North 44 in Toronto and ClubLink Golf Associates at the elite Lake Joseph Club on Lake Rosseau. As the Kitchen Manager at the private members club there, she was in charge of all weddings and conferences. She had the pleasure of cooking for celebrities such as Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, Tom Hanks, Martin Short, a group of NHL players and families, and even for Kate Hudson’s 17th birthday party. Other notable establishments on her resume include Geneva Park Conference Centre, Northridge Inn & Resort Conference Centre, and Cranberry Resort in Collingwood, where she was involved on the culinary side of all banquets and conferences.
Chef Becky has been a fixture at local farmer’s markets, music festivals, and pop-up events with her gourmet wild game food truck. She has also focused her passion and skills on teaching others her craft. She was a culinary instructor at Liaison College Barrie and for Loblaws Inc. Ontario. During her stint at Liaison, she coached two culinary students at “Taste of Toronto,” where they won the prestigious event. She now runs a series of culinary classes and retreats here at the Inn.
Chef has also catered on-site movie productions, represented Savour Muskoka on stage at the Royal Winter Fair, is a member of the Canadian Chef Association, and has done a series of film shoots as the Chef for Bell’s Wild TV network, Savour Muskoka on Shaw, and Sunshine City Chefs on Rogers. She has been published in several local magazines and newspapers, such as Muskoka Life, Parry Sound Life, Dockside Magazine, and TAPS craft beer magazine, and currently features a monthly recipe in The Villager magazine in Severn Township. Our Chef has a loyal following in her food enterprises and she never fails to stir up the culinary flavours.

Flor Francolla Gama grew up in the Kawartha Lakes, and started her career at the Sir William Mackenzie Inn as a server at the age of 15, and has worked at the venue on and off throughout the last 15 years. She had completed a degree in History and Art History at Carleton University from 2009-2013 with a focus on Mexican history and Italian Renaissance art. From 2014-2017 Flor moved to Mexico to teach English as a Second Language in a private school in a little town called Chapala, located in the state of Jalisco. Upon returning to Canada in the summer of 2017, Flor returned to working part time at the Mackenzie Inn while also working her way up to becoming General Manager for McDonald’s in Beaverton, Ontario, in 2020. After returning to the Mackenzie Inn several times throughout the years, Flor accepted the position of General Manager for the Sir William Mackenzie Inn in February 2022.
Flor has always felt a special attraction for the Mackenzie Inn due to its historical significance and beauty of the property and events. Passionate about weddings from a young age, Flor is now greatly enjoying leading the staff at the Mackenzie Inn in making dreams come true for couples on their wedding day.
